Mr. Ollivander’s family has been in the wand making biz for centuries.  He is a wise old wizard whose craft is highly specialized and whose wands are truly the best and prized.  He made both Harry’s and Voldemort’s wands. 

But poor Mr. Ollivander, where did he disappear to?  Neville probably bought one of the last wands Mr. Ollivander sold.   At the beginning of HBP Harry learns that Mr. Ollivander  has suddenly and mysteriously vanished, leaving his shop with abandoned and with no forwarding address.  It’s not like the reliable old gent to just up and disapparate without telling anybody, which leads me to only one conclusion:  he’s been abducted.  I’ll leave it to you to figure out who did the dastardly deed.  I just hope the dear old fellow is all right.  I also wonder what new wand he is being forced to create for the Dark Lord, and if it will have a secret twin.

Until I know more I’ll be wand-ering around searching for just the right wand clues.

Obsessive compulsive Quidditch player.  Will he take time out to join Dumbledore's Army?  That's a tough one but I think we can rely on Wood.

Harry Potter – Perhaps the newest and youngest member?  Will he be able to join before he comes of age?  I think it’s highly likely. 

Ron Weasley - Molly will have to be bound and gagged before she’ll let Ron join before he’s of age.

Hermione Granger – If Harry can become a member so can Hermione.

Neville Longbottom – It would make his Gran proud.

Fred and George Weasley – They are of age so I think it’s a sure thing.

Percy Weasley – Only if he comes to his senses and doesn’t end up a puddle on the floor.

The rest of the DA members - Most aren’t of age yet… but they can still do their part.

Professor Flitwick – I would have thought he was already a member.

The rest of the staff at Hogwarts… er… there have to be a few instructors left to teach but I’m sure they’ll be ready if called for duty.

Who will survive?  Who can we trust?
